Happy Birthday!

A year ago today, on my birthday, I made the leap and launched my photography business!

It has been such an incredible year!

This year I had the privilege of getting to know and serve so many amazing families!

I am so grateful for you and thank you for choosing me to take your photos this year!

I started off the year with a Maternity Session for my sister in law. My brother and sister in law were in town for a wedding. I met them by the wedding hall and we had so much fun taking maternity photos there. Recently I went back for a wedding there and it brought back wonderful memories.

Next I gifted my brother and sister in law with an in home lifestyle newborn session. We got to use the beautiful natural light they had coming through their living room windows. Every time I go to their house I'm amazed at the beautiful sunset view they have from their living room window. One day I would love to go back there to do a sunset session.

Once the weather got nicer, I did a photo session for a Shidduch profile photo. I found a great spot by the side of a medical building for the photo session.

Then came the beautiful Cherry Blossom Mini Sessions. The Cherry blossoms lining all the trees made for a beautiful backdrop. The kids had so much fun watching the cherry blossoms fall from the trees!

Our Spring Minis were a great hit. I am truly grateful for the power of word of mouth, and so glad for all the great experiences everyone had!

I then photographed my first Upsherin Event. Upsherin boys are just so much fun! I'm always amazed at the transformation a hair cut makes. All of a sudden the Upsherin boy looks all grown up from one day to the next!

I bought some props for Upsherin boys, and we had some Pre-Upsherin photo shoots. It was so inspiring watching the Upsherin boys kiss a pair of Tzizis and dance with the Torah!

I had a blast capturing a Bas Mitzvah Event! The amount of fun and life brought to the party, was just so entertaining and I'm so glad I got to be part of capturing those memories!

I got a contact request to photograph a Birthday Party Event at Apron Masters Kitchen. At first I had to turn down the request since I don't travel out of Brooklyn, since I don't drive Highways. I was flattered when they expressed they liked my work specifically and wanted to make it work. So we made it work! It was a pleasure working with the family and capturing the fun they had competing in teams for the "chopped" style game.

I had the privilege of photographing a Henna Party! That was one lively party! I loved learning about a culture that was new to me. The party was set amazing, with beautiful vibrant colors. The dresses they wore were beautiful.

Next came our Fall Minis! I have always loved the changing leaf colors in the fall! I got to have fun location scouting and finding the pretty trees to use for the Fall Minis. Cloudy days allowed us to shoot in all directions and get all kinds of backgrounds. While Sunny days, allowed us to get beautiful backlighting.
